In her message to the U.S. Congress, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), emphasized that the only way to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is through the regime’s overthrow by the Iranian people and their Resistance.

She pointed to the fall of Assad’s dictatorship as a key moment of weakness for Khamenei’s regime and urged the international community to support the Iranian people, who have rejected both the Shah and the mullahs’ dictatorship.

Mrs. Rajavi called for the activation of the Snapback mechanism and comprehensive sanctions against the regime.
