Stockholm, Sweden – August 23, 2025: MEK Supporters Honor the 60th Anniversary of PMOI

Stockholm, Sweden – August 23, 2025

Stockholm, Sweden – August 23, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in front of the Swedish Parliament to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the organization’s founding.

They raised the alarm over the imminent execution of five political prisoners in Iran. The Iranian regime has transferred them to Ghezel Hesar Prison, a facility notorious for mass executions, placing their lives in grave danger.

Protesters in Stockholm called for the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime by the Iranian people and the organized Resistance. They declared: No to war, no to appeasement, and yes to the “Third Option proposed by Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, and her Ten-Point Plan for a democratic republic in Iran.

They emphasized the leading role of Iranian women in uprisings and the fight against dictatorship with the slogan ‘Woman, Resistance, Freedom.’

Demonstrators expressed unwavering support for the PMOI Resistance Units inside Iran and reaffirmed their commitment to a democratic republic, rejecting both theocracy and monarchy.

They called for:

  • The complete abolition of the death penalty in Iran;

  • The immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners;

  • International recognition of the Iranian people’s right to resist tyranny.

Freedom-loving Iranians in Stockholm also backed Mrs. Rajavi’s call to expand participation in the “No to Executions” campaign.
