Iranians Rally in Rome to Honor Iran’s November 2019 Uprising and Demand Regime Change

Rome, Italy — November 15, 2025

Rome, Italy — November 15, 2025: A rally was held in Rome by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) to honor the 1500 martyrs of the nationwide November 2019 (Aban 98) uprising, the 2022 protests, and political prisoners—especially those executed this year or facing imminent execution.

At the rally, freedom-loving Iranians and PMOI supporters emphasized the continuation of the struggle for democracy and resistance against the oppressive clerical regime, highlighting the courage of the Iranian people in standing up to tyranny.

The rally also protested the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons.

Iranians in Rome underscored their people’s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs’ regime or a return to the monarchical rule. They stressed the need to recognize the Resistance Units and the right of the Iranian people to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny.

The Iranian community specifically demanded that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) be designated as a terrorist organization and urged stronger actions from the Italian government against the Iranian regime.
