Mass Support Turns Fundraising into a Congress of Resistance

August 11, 2026 – Simay-e Azadi’s 30th Free Iran Telethon (originally August 7–9, 2026) was extended through August 10 by popular demand. The four days became a shared affirmation of the Iranian Resistance’s 47-year struggle, financial and political independence, and the channel’s role as an uncensored voice—especially after the December 2025 uprising and regional tensions.

Support from Inside Iran

Callers described Simay-e-Azadi as a “guiding light” amid poverty, inflation, and war—providing clarity, hope, and a clear path toward overthrowing the clerical regime and building a democratic republic. Resistance Unit members and ordinary citizens made striking sacrifices: Setareh from Karaj donated her entire monthly salary (20 million tomans).

  • Reza from Mashhad gave five million tomans (10 days of hard labor).
  • Ahmad from Chabahar sold his motorcycle.
  • Ali from Baneh contributed his daily food budget.

From Ghezel Hesar Prison, political prisoner Loghman Aminpour pledged his life for the cause. Many called the channel the voice of Resistance Units, justice-seeking mothers, and every uprising.

Support from Abroad

Diaspora supporters stressed the same independence and authenticity. Amir Hossein (England) said the channel taught him the truth about Iran; Saba (Canada) praised its accurate portrayal of uprisings; others in the US and UK highlighted its fight against censorship and its role as the only reliable source of real news from inside Iran.

Shared Pride and Resolve

Across generations and borders, participants expressed national pride, hope, and determination against any dictatorship. The telethon proved that millions of Iranians see keeping Simay-e Azadi on air as their own mission.
