Posters, Wall Writings and Photo Calls Mark the 30th Simay-e Azadi Fundraising Campaign
Iran – August 9, 2026: The Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in various Iranian cities carried out publicity activities, including the display of handwritten and printed posters and photo calls, in support of the 30th fundraising campaign for Simay-e Azadi (INTV) and the continuation of the struggle for freedom in Iran.
The activities featured slogans about Simay-e Azadi, the MEK Resistance Units, and the struggle for freedom. These activities were carried out in Tehran, Mashhad, Karaj, Tabriz, Urmia, Kermanshah, Arak, Qom, Hamedan, Sanandaj, Borujerd, Iranshahr, and Parand.
MEK Resistance Units Carry Out 50 Activities Across Iranian Cities
Tehran
MEK Resistance Units in Tehran displayed banners and posters and carried out wall writings at several locations.
The slogans included: “Down with Khomeini and Khamenei; hail Massoud and Maryam Rajavi”; “Hail Rajavi”; “Down with the oppressor, whether he is a Shah or a leader”; and “Hail the Mojahedin.”
Posters also carried the message: “The overthrow of this regime will be achieved by the Iranian people through an organized uprising, with the Resistance Units and the Liberation Army.”
A poster featuring Maryam Rajavi stated: “The Liberation Army guarantees lasting peace, freedom, and Iran’s independence.”
Posters displayed at three locations concerning the gathering of Iranians in Italy carried the messages: “No to executions, yes to a democratic republic,” and “The overthrow of this regime will be achieved by the Iranian people through an organized uprising, with the Resistance Units and the Liberation Army.”
Two other posters carried the message: “The Liberation Army guarantees lasting peace, freedom, and Iran’s independence.”
Parand, Tehran Province
A banner was displayed with the slogan: “Hail Rajavi.”
Tabriz
A wall writing read: “Down with the principle of velayat-e faqih [clerical rule].”
Mashhad
MEK Resistance Units carried out several activities in Mashhad, including group activities, wall writings, and an activity featuring photographs and an emblem.
One group activity featured the slogan: “We are the children of Iran; we are moving forward in the field. With the Iranian Liberation Army, we can turn Iran into a garden. With Maryam and Massoud, we will go all the way; we will pass beyond the mullahs and the shah.”
Another group activity featured the slogans: “The Liberation Army is the path to our liberation,” “The Liberation Army is the only path to freedom,” and “Neither crown nor turban—the mullah’s job is finished.”
Wall writings included: “Long live the National Liberation Army; damn Khamenei; hail Rajavi; the only path to liberation is arms and overthrow”; “The only path to liberation is arms and overthrow”; “The only path to liberation is arms and overthrow; hail Rajavi”; “The executioner’s noose around Damavand’s neck will never have any effect”; “Greetings and salutations to Rajavi”; and “Down with the oppressor, whether he is a shah or a leader.”
Karaj
MEK Resistance Units in Karaj displayed banners and carried out photo calls at several locations.
The slogans included: “Down with Khamenei; hail Rajavi; long live the Resistance Units; long live and endure the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran” and “Hail Rajavi.”
Urmia
A wall writing read: “Hail Rajavi.”
Kermanshah
MEK Resistance Units in Kermanshah displayed posters and carried out wall writings.
The slogans included: “Down with the oppressor, whether he is a shah or a leader”; “Hail Rajavi; down with the principle of velayat-e faqih [clerical rule]; long live the Iranian Resistance.”
Arak
Wall writings read: “Hail Massoud Rajavi” and “Long live the Liberation Army.”
Qom
A photo call featured the slogans: “Hail Rajavi; down with the principle of velayat-e faqih [clerical rule].”
Hamedan
A poster carried the slogans: “Hail Rajavi; long live the Liberation Army.”
A wall writing read: “Hail Rajavi.”
Sanandaj
A photo call featured the statement attributed to Massoud Rajavi: “The Liberation Army is the only path to freedom.”
Another photo call carried the slogan: “Damn Khomeini and Khamenei; hail Rajavi.”
Borujerd
Posters were displayed at two locations carrying the slogan: “Hail Rajavi.”
Iranshahr
A banner was displayed with the slogan: “Long live the National Liberation Army of Iran.”
