Iran – September 25–26, 2026: 60 activities by the Resistance Units affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in 17 cities across Iran amid the regime’s maximum state of alert: Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Ahvaz, Sari, Kermanshah, Gorgan, Hamadan, Zahedan, Lahijan, Nahavand, Behshahr, Marvdasht, and Naft Shahr.
Paying tribute to the 1,810 PMOI members executed by firing squad in Evin Prison by executioner Asadollah Lajevardi, from the evening of September 27, 1981, through the following day.
Arrests in Tehran on September 27: More than 10,000 people.
Message of Mojahed youth on September 27:
“Shah, Sultan Velayat (referring to the absolute autocratic rule of Khomeini, the regime’s then Supreme Leader), your death has arrived. Khomeini, have some shame and give up the throne. O executioner, shame on you. Down with Khomeini, long live freedom.”
Maryam Rajavi: “It was because of your courage and sacrifice that the herds of IRGC and security forces are terrified of the younger generation.”
