Democracy
We support the sovereignty of the Iranian people and their right to be represented by a representative government selected and chosen by the people. The ballot box should be the only criterion for legitimacy.
Universal Human Rights
We advocate for a pluralist system where individual and social freedoms are respected in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and strongly support the abolition of the death penalty.
Justice
We believe impunity must end to halt the cycle of gross human rights violations and death by the ruling theocracy in Iran. We call on the UN to form an independent inquiry into the 1988 Massacre and the slaughter of over 1,500 protesters in November 2019. Inaction by the international community emboldens the current regime to continue these crimes against humanity.
Gender Equality
Women have been the main victims of the ruling theocracy in Iran. Gender equality and women’s empowerment are fundamental to creating change in society and building a free future for Iran.
