Members of Resistance Units, the network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), celebrated the International Women’s Day by sending messages of support for
MEK Resistance Units installed banners placards and wrote graffiti, emphasizing the Iranian women’s resolve to overthrow the religious dictatorship and establish freedom and democracy in Iran.
These activities took place in Tehran and various cities, including Karaj, Isfahan, Tabriz, Shiraz, Hamedan, Arak, Saqez, and Bijar.
The placards read:
“Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian people’s uprising, led by women, will sweep away the misogynist tyranny from Iran,”
“Maryam Rajavi: The protesting women are the pride of Iran and all Iranians,”
“Maryam Rajavi: No to compulsory hijab, no to compulsory religion, no to compulsory government,”
“Maryam Rajavi: rebellious women have become the pride of Iran and Iranians,” “Democracy, freedom, with Maryam Rajavi,”
“Maryam Rajavi: March 8 is a day of anger and protest against inequality and gender discrimination,”
“We, Iranian women, support Mrs. Rajavi’s ten-point plan,” “We are certain that women will overthrow this regime,”
“We are determined to set up centers of protest and revolt in all cities,”
“Woman’s Day is the day when we renew our pledge with Maryam Rajavi, together we will overthrow this regime.”
