On July 13, 2019, Ashraf 3, new home to members of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) hosted many Iranians and distinguished figures from the world’s five continents. Dr. Bernard Kouchner was one of the prominent politicians who took part in the gathering and delivered important remarks. He said:
“This is a marvelous work of art here in Ashraf. You really deserve to build up a real country in Iran. It is very well done. Coming to Ashraf 3 was a real reward for the people supporting you. Now, we are facing this new step, benchmark and era. The era of freedom in Iran,” said former French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner at the MEK rally in Ashraf 3.
Kouchner expressed his support for Mrs. Rajavi’s ten-point plan. “I don’t think anyone is against this policy. We believe the people of Iran are not supporting the [mullahs’ regime]. The mullahs are murderers. They are the origin of all terrorist attacks,” Kouchner said at the MEK rally in Ashraf 3.
“We are ready to relieve these people from this awful religious system. We are not against religion. But we are against using religion to kill people… Religion is also the liberation of the people. Madam Maryam Rajavi, You are persistent and a fantastic model for the women of the world… We are completely with you to support such a fantastic program.”
