MEK supporters in Europe held rallies in support of Iranian people
Last week, MEK supporters in Europe held demonstrations in various cities in support of the Iranian people.
The cities of Malmö, Gothenburg and Amsterdam in the Netherlands witnessed protests by MEK supporters in Europe.
Protests of MEK supporters in Europe – Gothenburg – Sweden
On Saturday, November 2, during a demonstration, MEK supporters in Gothenburg commemorate the martyrdom of 24 People’s MEK members who were killed in a missile attack against Camp Liberty, Iraq, on October 29, 2015.
Raising the Iranian flag and holding photos of the MEK martyrs with them, the demonstrators vowed to continue fighting until the overthrow the mullahs’ regime and the establishment of freedom in Iran.
MEK supporters in Gothenburg also continued their demonstration chanting slogans “Down with the mullahs’ regime, long live freedom, political prisoners must be freed.” Swedish citizens welcomed the event.
They also called on the international community, especially the European Union, to shut down the Iranian regime’s embassies, and condemned the regime’s terrorism.
Protests of MEK supporters in Europe – Malmo – Sweden
MEK supporters in Malmo, Sweden, also held a demonstration and condemned the Iranian regime’s terror against political opponents, especially the MEK. They also protested the gross human rights violations in Iran and called on the international community to prosecute the leaders of the Iranian regime for their crimes against humanity, in particular the massacre of political prisoners and members of the MEK in 1988.
Protests of MEK supporters in Europe – Amsterdam – Netherlands
On Saturday, November 2, MEK supporters demonstrated in Dam Square in Amsterdam, Netherlands, demanding the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Netherlands and the expulsion its ambassador because of his involvement in the regime’s acts of terror. They also called on European leaders to refrain from continuing the policy of appeasement toward the regime and to not ignore the regime’s crimes.
The demonstrators strongly condemned the regime’s crackdown on peaceful protests and continued use of death penalty, and demanded that the international community deals with this regime firmly.
