Iranian alternative convention in the aftermath Iran uprising

On the eve of the Iranian alternatives’ Grand Gathering in Paris,gave his support to the event.

Egidijus Vareikis a member of the council of Europe, in the parliamentary assembly, announced his solidarity with the Iranian alternatives’ Gathering in Paris.

Ladies and gentlemen

We are in the council of Europe, in the parliamentary assembly. I want to say a few sentences declare stances about Iran. You know that situation in this country is becoming more and more dangerous and a lot of demonstration and almost upraising and more than 140 cities and we know from our historical experience that there are many resolutions of the united nation, 64 of them, and previously more than a 100 peoples were arrested. So now the situation really is very grim. They are as said, demonstrations in more than one hundred cities. They are more than 5o persons killed, they some eight thousand arrested for exercising their democratic cries for the peaceful of protest. So first of all we are condemning all this human right violation in the country. Of course we are strongly supporting this protesters how are not simply protesting, they are expressing very clear statement.  They say no to Khamenei Regime, no to Rouhani Regime, they are saying game is over, we need Regime change and they say yes for democracy. In that context you probably know, I remained you what we have the very much pro-democratic, pro-human right Organization led by Maryam Rajavi. She has proposed so-called 10 point program for Iran, main of each 10 point program is to promote democracy, human right, and gender equality, to promote market economy, to promote multi-cultural and multi-ethnic societies. So everything a real country needs now. The country is still under the control of so-called Mullah Regime which does not grantee any human rights and liberties for the country. We have in the Council of Europe recently propose the recent declaration about Iran, about Iran protests it was signed by more than one hundred participants of west parliamentary assembly in the  April 2018. So I want to call the participant not only sign the declaration not only follow the situation sensibly not only be moral solidarity with Iranian people, I also want to remind Iranian alternative it organizing gathering in Europe, and I on behalf of Iranian alternative, I want to invite you to the largest convention of Iranian alternative in the aftermath Iran uprising, the event will take place on June 30, Saturday. It will be in Paris. And for more information, you can find on the internet and the office of the Iranian alternative and we are inviting you to participate, to express not only your solidarity but to advise people who want to promote democracy, to advice who to behave in that turbulent time turbulent situation.
