The National Education Union is the largest teachers’ union in the UK
Continuing international support for the teachers’ protests in Iran, the British National Education Union supported the Iranian teachers’ protests.
It is the largest teachers’ union in the UK, with more than 460,000 members of the teaching staff.
The two general secretaries and the president of this union held placards in support of the teachers’ protests in Iran.
A placard held by Kevin Courtney, Secretary General of the National Education Association in the United Kingdom, read:

Mary Bousted and Daniel Kebede, president of the National Education Union in the UK, also held a placard that read:
“Free All Teachers Imprisoned In Iran!”
