Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, following the unsuccessful attempt on his life by the oppressive Iranian regime, promptly held a press conference in Madrid upon his discharge from the hospital. Accompanied by his wife, Dr. Vidal-Quadras met with Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and other members of the Resistance in Paris on February 29, 2024.

He willingly risked his safety by visiting Ashraf in Iraq during perilous times and played a pivotal role in relocating the MEK members from Camp Liberty, widely condemned as a concentration camp, to Albania.
Dr. Vidal-Quadras epitomized integrity in politics, never wavering in his stance against the Iranian regime. He embodied a historic protest against policies of appeasement toward religious fascism.
In retaliation, the mullahs targeted him for assassination, seeking to silence those who spoke truth to power. His recent press conference in Madrid served as a resounding rebuttal to the regime’s aggression.
