Prominent Figures Unite to Support Brussels Free Iran Rally On Sept. 6, 2025

The Brussels Free Iran Rally on September 6, 2025, has garnered widespread support from prominent international figures across multiple continents.

Former Ecuadorian President Rosalia Arteaga has voiced strong support for the rally, urging the international community to address Iran’s crises, including water, energy, and labor issues, while endorsing Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan for a democratic Iran.

Former MEP Struan Stevenson stands firmly with the upcoming rally, condemning the Iranian regime’s execution of over 1,500 people since July 2024 under President Pezeshkian. He emphasizes that Iranians reject both monarchy and theocracy, demanding democracy, freedom, gender equality, and an end to executions.

Former MEP Paulo Casaca from Portugal highlights Iran’s alarming per capita execution rate, noting over 1,500 executions since Pezeshkian’s presidency, many for vague charges like “enmity against God.” He joins the rally’s call to stop executions and blacklist the IRGC.

Former German MP Martin Patzelt sends his solidarity, stating that the mullahs’ regime survives solely through terror and executions. He calls for stronger global alliances to support Iranians in building a democratic homeland.

Kjell Ingolf Ropstad, a Norwegian MP and former Minister, expresses his wishes for the rally’s success, standing with the Iranian Resistance’s 60-year struggle for freedom and democracy. He invites others to join in Brussels.

Peter Murphy from Australians for Democracy in Iran supports the global call to stop executions and release political prisoners. He advocates for the “Iran Third Option,” where the Iranian people overthrow the regime for a free, democratic, secular republic.

Robert Ward, a British commentator, endorses the September 6 rally, urging Britain to recognize Iran’s democratic opposition. He encourages supporters to engage with his video and article outlining the need for change.

Sir Geoffrey Bindman KC, a distinguished British lawyer, supports the rally, condemning Iran’s mass executions and backing Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan. He calls for an immediate halt to the regime’s atrocities.

Professor Sara Chandler, a prominent lawyer, echoes Bindman’s stance, supporting the Brussels Free Iran Rally and Rajavi’s vision for a democratic Iran while denouncing the ongoing executions.

Dutch Professor Henk de Haan expresses solidarity with the rally, standing against Iran’s authoritarian and misogynistic regime. He encourages Iranians to persevere in their fight for freedom.
