Evidence of 1988 Massacre Presented in Swedish Court
This week marked a turning point in the trial of an infamous henchman of the Iranian regime who is on trial in Sweden for committing crimes against humanity. Hamid Noury was arrested by Swedish authorities in November 2019 and put on trial for his involvement in the massacre of at least 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. The episode has been described as a genocide and crime against humanity by international experts and lawyers.

At the same time with the rally, the 70th session of the trial of the executioner Hamid Noury, one of the executioners of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Gohardasht prison, was held in the Stockholm District Court.

On Monday, February 28, 2022, the United Nations Human Rights Council began their 49th session, via a virtual conference, to discuss and raise concerns over the critical human right situation in Iran.
