Ebrahim Raisi, Massacre\u2019s Henchman<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 3, the news of Ebrahim Raisi\u2019s appointment as the Chief Justice<\/a> deeply shocked the Iranian community. Of course, the regime unveiled this appointment gradually to avoid social wrath. This reveals that Khamenei, the regime\u2019s Supreme Leader, well knows how obnoxious, the Iranians hold Raisi, massacre\u2019s henchman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there was another reason for Khamenei\u2019s delayed announcement of Raisi\u2019s\nappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reason is relevant to the regime\u2019s sham presidential election on April 2017, when due to MEK<\/a>\u2019s revelations of Raisi\u2019s role at the 1988 massacre of political prisoners<\/a>, Khamenei was not able to have him as his president. Even Raisi\u2019s charlatan opponent, Rouhani, described him as a man that is just familiar with execution and jail. He addressed Raisi, massacre\u2019s henchman, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur people will announce once again; they do not accept some people who\nwere just familiar with execution and jail over the last 38 years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the appointment of Raisi, massacre\u2019s henchman as the regime\u2019s\nChief Justice reveals two facts. Firstly; the only path to survival that this\nregime knows is suppression; thousands of executions is a witness to that. And\nsecondly, by appointing this henchman, Khamenei reveals his fear of his\narch-enemy whose members and supporters formed the majority of the victims of the\n1988 massacre; the MEK. The one whose resistance units are leading the protests\ntowards the regime\u2019s overthrow and are attacking the regime\u2019s icons on a daily\nbasis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since all Dictators, make irreparable mistakes at the end of their time,\nKhamenei imagines that his regime is able to rein the volcanic situation of the\nsociety by appointing one of the most savage mullahs as Chief Judge. But\ncontrary to this image, not only Raisi\u2019s appointment won\u2019t bring stability for\nthe regime, but also it will turn into a preface for its international\naccountability in regard with its horrible situation of human rights, including\nthe 1988 massacre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 8, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi,<\/a> the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe clerical regime has appointed Ebrahim Raisi, a hated mass murderer and\none of the most brutal agents of the #1988Massacre of 30,000 political\nprisoners, as the head of its Judiciary!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cIn looking to install a\nbloodthirsty goon, Khamenei seeks to hide the regime\u2019s weakness in the face of\nthe arisen people of Iran. But he will fail,\u201d Mrs. Maryam Rajavi\nadded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, it should not be forgotten that two years ago, when the \u2018Call for Justice\u2019 movement was launched by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi\u2019s initiative, it was thoroughly welcomed by the\u00a0 families of the 1988 massacre\u2019s victims, and universal institutions such as the Amnesty International, the U.S. House of Representatives, and etc. Undoubtedly, concurrent with surging uprisings and the activities of the resistance units (PMOI\/MEK supporters inside Iran<\/a>, not only the appointment of Ebrahim Raisi, massacre\u2019s henchman, is unable to solve the regime\u2019s impasses but also it will become a source of inspiration for the Iranians\u2019 Call for Justice movement.
