Nowruz celebration with Maryam Rajavi in Ashraf <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>,\u00a0attended a gathering of members of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK) in Albania to celebrate the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, on March 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured speeches by political\nsupporters of the Iranian Resistance from throughout the world and the members\nof NCRI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\nthe outset of Nowruz celebration, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi congratulated Iranians at\nhome, abroad, and said,\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCongratulations\non the advent of the New Year 1398, to my compatriots in all cities and\nvillages of Iran and to Iranians the world over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowruz congratulations to the families of martyrs, to the resistance units, to supporters of the Iranian Resistance, to political prisoners, to NCRI members, to PMOI freedom fighters and to Massoud Rajavi, the leader of the Iranian Resistance.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations\non 1398, the year of uprisings, the year of hope and excitement, and the year\nof advancing and lunging forward to achieve freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy\nNew Year to the people of Iran who never lost hope even under the oppressive\nrule of the vicious mullahs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\nalso salute our honorable friends from Albania who are our guests here today in\nthis Nowruz celebration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Nowruz\ncelebration, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi expressed solidarity with people from all\ndifferent walks of life who have upraised for their rights in Iran and said, \u201cIn\nthe final moments before the turn of the year, we are standing with Iran\u2019s\nworkers whose table spreads are empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are standing\nbeside the farmers whose farms are dry and dehydrated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are standing\nwith the honorable teachers of Iran who are discriminated against and\nhumiliated, who have been doomed to live under the poverty line, and who are\nimprisoned for their legitimate protests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in the\nsame front with millions of jobless youths and university graduates whose\nnumbers grow every year.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Maryam\nRajavi in her speech at Nowruz celebration recalled\nthe freedom fighters and those fallen for freedom in Iran and continued, \u201cAnd\nbefore the turn of the year, our thoughts go out to our slain Mojahed and\ncombatant children, the political prisoners executed in 1397, the 120,000\nmartyrs fallen for freedom. Those buried in Khavaran and other places in every\ntown and village with no tombstones.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Maryam\nRajavi at Nowruz celebration added, \u201c1397 was the year of the expansion of\nresistance units when the strategy of 1,000 Ashrafs and the army of freedom\nshined brighter than ever in our occupied homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1397, the uprisings and protests shook the ground under the mullahs\u2019 regime. The policy of appeasement was defeated and the mullahs lost one of the main pillars propping up their rule.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs.\nMaryam Rajavi in Nowruz celebration, pointed to the nationwide protests and\nuprisings in Iran, \u201cIn the past year, Iran grew many blossoms heralding its\npolitical and social spring. The blossoms of uprisings, protests, and strikes.\nThe uprisings in the cities of Kazerun, Borazjan,\nAhvaz, and Khorramshahr. The uprising of Tehran\u2019s Bazaar. The uprisings in\nearly August in 27 cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five\nseries of nationwide strikes by truckers and truck owners, and consecutive\nstrikes and protests by workers, teachers, educators and the retirees, and\nthousands of strikes, protests and demonstrations in at least 700 cities and\ntowns.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nNowruz celebration speech, Mrs, Maryam Rajavi stipulated the end of the illusion of a potential moderated\nregime, \u201cModeration was put to death by the appointment of Ebrahim Raisi as\nChief Justice. He is a hated mass murderer who ran against Rouhani in the\nregime\u2019s presidential elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raisi\u2019s\nappointment was a coup de grace to the illusive myth of moderation. This happens\nwhile Rouhani\u2019s government is half-paralyzed as their showcase foreign minister\nkeeps sitting at home every other day or resigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem is not whether this regime is engulfed in this or that crisis; the problem is that the mullahs\u2019 rule is in crisis all together. Yes, the crisis is the crisis of overthrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout\nthe past year, they were dreaming of finding a way out by annihilating the\nMojahedin and the Iranian Resistance. Therefore, they concentrated the core of\ntheir efforts on terrorism and demonization, which targeted the Mojahedin, but\nthey failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last\nyear, the National Liberation Army culminated in 1,000 Ashrafs and resistance\nunits, which sprouted in cities across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now,\nthe strategy and stances of the Iranian Resistance are echoed by the words and\ndemands of workers, truckers, teachers, students, farmers and all protesters\nthroughout the country: The overthrow of the clerical regime is the desire and\ndemand of all the people of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the beginning of the New Year, I want to tell all mothers and fathers, my sisters and brothers, my young daughters and sons, that in the face of the criminal mullahs, you must move hand in hand to welcome the New Year 1398, the year of uprisings, upheavals and revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
