The regime Officials left people alone in the face of the flood disaster in Iran <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since\nMarch 20, on the eve of the Iranian New Year, the flash flood disaster<\/a> in Iran hit the\nNorthern provinces, and in a few days, it swiftly covered many parts of the\ncountry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up\nto now, the flood disaster in Iran has wrecked the provinces of Golestan,\nMazandaran, Fars, Lorestan, Khuzestan, Central, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari,\nNorth Khorasan, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Hormozgan, Semnan, Sistan and Baluchestan,\nZanjan, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, Alborz, and Isfahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southern\nKhorasan, Ilam, and Tehran provinces are also suffering from heavy snow, cold\nand inundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flood disaster, in the provinces of North\nKhorasan, Mazandaran and Semnan have caused severe damages, loss of lives and\nthe inundation of villages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite thorough censorship of the flood disaster\nnews by the regime, the state-run media have admitted that 70 percent of Aq\nQala, in Golestan Province, is surrounded by water, twelve villages around this\ncity have been completely submerged, 7,900 houses in Golestan Province are\nseverely damaged by the floods, and 23,000 locals are caught in the flood,\nleaving many people mourning their loved ones on New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cause of flood disaster in Iran <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually, the Iranian regime has left people\nvulnerable against natural disasters such as flood and earthquake, by destroying significant parts of forests and meadowlands<\/a>,\nand by wasting the national wealth to export terrorism, to conduct clandestine\nnuclear projects to obtain bomb, and to carry on missile projects, in addition\nto promoting its suppressive apparatus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nabsence of the Governor of Golestan Province in such a state of emergency, flood disaster in Iran incited the popular anger. To cover-up the\nscandal, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Rouhani\u2019s interior minister, said that the\nGovernor, Mannaf Hashemi, has gone abroad to look into family matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\nvisiting the flood-stricken regions, Ali Larijani, the Parliament\u2019s chairman,\nin response to a woman who had lost everything, instead of showing any sympathy\nsaid in obscenity: \u201cYet you are still alive\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nIranian people are well aware that they cannot rely on the Mullahs\u2019 regime. The\nrecord of the regime\u2019s negligence on the dreadful condition of the\nearthquake-stricken cities, in Kermanshah Province, is speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So,\nthe only solution is in national unity to extend help to the flood-stricken\npeople.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, sent a\nmessage to the Iranian people<\/a>, in which she called for\nnational solidarity and unity in face of the floods and the corruption of the\nmullahs: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRush to the aid of families affected by floods and show them your love and compassion. The mullahs have inflicted such a calamity on our people and cities. Let us build amid such disaster, our own solidarity and kindness, which is the greatest strength of our nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us build with our tears and sorrows a force of\nsympathy and unity against the mullahs. In these difficult days, rely on one\nanother and let people rely on you.
