Nowadays,\nthe international community is well aware of the devastating consequences of\nthe Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps\u2019 (IRGC) meddling\nin the Middle East, as well as\nits crimes, including providing financial support and weapons for acts of\ninternational terrorism.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The war in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, supporting\nLebanon\u2019s Hezbollah and other terrorist groups in the world is only part of the\nIRGC\u2019s malign activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC trains and arms terrorist groups to\nfoment proxy and civil wars in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC is the cruelest force of the Iranian\nregime; actually, it is the main means of preserving the totalitarian\nmullahs, via terror and crime. The IRGC is responsible for the repression of\nlabor protests, popular\nuprisings, the arrest and torture of the political dissidents in its secret\nprisons, and the\nreconnaissance and assassination of political and cultural opponents inside and\noutside the country. Also, the IRGC is involved in illegal\nfinancial activities including smuggling weapons and narcotics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC commanders, along with\nother Iranian officials, form the upper echelons of the owners of Iran\u2019s commercial institutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC and its affiliated organs have such a\npolitical and financial influence that they implement the policies of the Iranian regime inside and\nabroad. By founding front\ncompanies, the IRGC, has a great percentage of Iran\u2019s economy under its control. \u00a0\u00a0For\nexample, its Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, controls more than 2,500 companies, and 2,500 of the\nIRGC commanders are on their\nboard of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC affiliated companies have unlimited\nprivileges. According to Ali Khamenei\u2019s decree, they are exempted from taxes\nand the government cannot exercise any control over their activities.The IRGC\nonly answers to the\nSupreme Leader. Especial bank\ncredits is allocated to them. In some urgent cases, the demanded funds\nare immediately credited to Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters\u2019 bank account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC affiliated companies enjoy the\nopportunity to use IRGC\u2019s\nfield equipment and Heavy Machinery to carry out civil projects, for\nfree. This will allow them to carry out the projects much cheaper than the\nmarket prices and to eliminate all the business competitors. In the fraudulent process\nof privatizing state-owned companies, the IRGC has appointed its own agents to the top of the hierarchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, all the affairs of the Iranian regime, including the\nclandestine nuclear program and its \u00a0\u00a0missile manufacturing, are under the control of the IRGC.\nThey control terrorist networks abroad, smuggling of drugs, and a major part of Iran\u2019s economy, such as roads and building construction. Also, the\nenergy and telecommunications sectors are under the IRGC\u2019s monopoly. The IRGC is a\nmulti-dimensional phenomenon; through its former and present members, it shares the political\npower, it is a parallel state, a parallel army, and an industrial empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 However,\nthe IRGC crimes in Iran are beyond controlling the economy or controlling terrorism and repressiing the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC has victimized the environment at its\nown benefit. Because of the\ndeforestation, changing the rivers courses, confiscating fertile lands, selling\nfertile soils to foreign countries, and constructiing non-standard\ndams and structures, by the IRGC, Iran\u2019s environment is at stake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent sample of Iran\u2019s environment\nvictimization, resulted from the IRGC\u2019s misdeed, is the recent flash floods, which could have been controlled by taking proper\npreventive measures. The floods swept out villages, bridges, historic sites,\nand farmlands. They left behind vast damages to the people\u2019s lives and\nbelongings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the last four decades, the IRGC has built about 600 dams,\nmost of them lacking acquired\nstandards, often causing drying of the lakes and wetlands, thus leading to drought. Now, the same dams have\nbeen damaged or overflowed ruining\npeople\u2019s lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0The IRGC\u2019s crimes against environmental degradation IRGC\u2019s environmental destruction, provoked such popular wrath,\nthat the Attorney General of the regime announced that disseminating flood news on social networks is illegal and the perpetrators would be prosecuted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IRGC\nshould have been listed as a terrorist organization many year ago but the\nappeasement policy prevented it. Though the western countries were well aware\nof IRGC\u2019s destructive role in the international arena and its threat for global\npeace, yet they victimized Iran\u2019s only democratic opposition (the MEK and the\nNational Council of Resistance of Iran, NCRI) and designated it as terrorist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nyears, the Iranian resistance has emphasized on the necessity of international confrontation\nwith the IRGC, as the main means of the Iran regime\u2019s repression and export of terrorism, designating it\nas a terrorist entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her message on January 11, 2019, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>, called on the U.S. and the EU to designate the integrity of the IRGC and the Mullahs\u2019 Ministry of Intelligence (MIOS)<\/a> as terrorist organizations and to expel their agents from their soil. Mrs. Rajavi also called for recognition the Iranian people\u2019s right to overthrow religious fascism, to achieve freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the terrorist designation of the IRGC as a whole by the United States and\nEurope is a historical necessity. Should it was done before, a lot of blood\nwould have been saved, there were no displacements and murders in Syria, Iraq,\nand Yemen at the capacity that we are witnessing,\nand even ISIS, as an offspring of the IRGC\u2019s crimes in Iraq and Syria, would not have grown as such in its power and \u00a0leeway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enlisting the IRGC by the United States and\nall Western countries is a necessity for peace and stability in the region and\nthe prevention of spreading terrorism and fundamentalism, which should be\ncompleted by listing the MIOS. But the final blow to this regime is the recognition\nof the right of the Iranian people and their legitimate\nresistance to regime change in order to free the world from the clutches of this\nterrorist and fundamentalist regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 8, concurrently with the United States\u2019 listing of the IRGC as a FTO, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi stated<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Recognizing the right of the Iranian people and the Resistance to overthrow the ruling religious fascism and to establish freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Placing the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and other organs of suppression and export of terrorism and fundamentalism on State Department\u2019s FTO list as well as on the EU\u2019s terror watch list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Expelling the agents of the MOIS and the terrorist Quds Force from the United States and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Referring the dossier on the Iranian regime\u2019s human rights violations and the massacre of political prisoners to the United Nations Security Council and the International Court of Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Expelling the illegitimate clerical regime from the UN and recognizing the Iranian Resistance as the true representative of the Iranian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Evicting the Iranian regime and its forces from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
