MEK \/ PMOI<\/a>\u00a0Free\u00a0 Iran rally in Albania<\/a>\u2013 Alejo Vidal Cuadras, former Vice President of the European Parliament supported MEK and\u00a0 Maryam Rajavi\u2019s plan for a free and democratic Iran<\/a>\u2013 July 13, 2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejo Vidal Quadras:\nDear Mrs. P{resident, dear Ashrafis, dear friends, it is for me a great\npleasure and also a great privilege to participate once again in our annual\ngrand gathering. I\u2019ve been attending this magnificent event for 15 years and\nthis is the first time we hold it in Ashraf 3 in Tirana in Albania. I should\nsay, I should say this is the first time we celebrate our gathering in Ashraf,\nbecause Ashraf 3 as Ashraf 2 and Ashraf 1 are one in the same city, the same\nuninterrupted and unfailing beacon of freedom, democracy, power of will, and\nhope. Massoud Rajavi has rightly called Ashraf the capital of the PMOI and I\nwant to use this opportunity to express my warmest greetings to him, the\nhistorical leader of the PMOI and to wish him well because a free Iran will\nneed him very much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejo Vidal Quadras:\nI lived the unforgettable experience to visit Ashraf 1 as head of a\nParliamentary delegation 11 years ago when it was in Iraq. I witnessed there\nthe incredible miracle the PMOI had done in the middle of the desert, how they\ntransformed a dry and desolate emptiness into a prosperous, alive, creative,\nand dynamic community. Believe me, for men and women that achieved such\nwonderful deed, for men and women of that quality nothing is impossible. And\nyou have repeated this gigantic task here in Ashraf 3. Dear Ashrafis, you are\nunbeatable. This is why I am convinced that sooner more than later the evil\nregime that for four decades now has oppressed brutally Iran will fall and\ndemocracy, freedom, and a decent life will be given to the Iranian people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejo Vidal Quadras:\nHundreds of martyrs paid with their ultimate sacrifice of their lives both in\nAshraf 1 and in Ashraf 2 before those who survived to deadly attacks, to denial\nof medical assistance, and to the most terrible hardship could finally be\ntransferred to this safe location in Albania, the only country in the world\nthat opened its arms to the PMOI in such number, rescuing them from a fatal\nfate. This has been said many times tonight but I want to repeat it because we\nwill never repeat it enough times. We must all pay tribute to the authorities\nand the people of Albania for such admirable and humanitarian behavior, an\nexample for the rest of nations of the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejo Vidal Quadras\nadded: Yes, dear friends, Ashraf 1, 2 and 3 are only one Ashraf. There is a\n(continuing) line made of courage, faith and amazing endurance that has never been\nbroken since the PMOI were founded half a century ago.\u00a0 And we are here today to say that there will\nnot be an Ashraf 4 because the next Ashraf has already a name. A name blessed\nby thousands of years of history, by hundreds of generations of a great people,\nby a wonderful culture built by artists, writers, musicians, thinkers,\nscientists, craftsmen, farmers and traders along centuries. Ashraf 4 has already\na name, and this name is Iran. Iran itself will be the final Ashraf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejo Vidal Quadras:\nThe whole country will be our beloved and everlasting Ashraf the day when\nfreedom, democracy, equality between men and women and respect for human rights\nwill reign in a land which has suffered too much and too long under the cruel\nrule of the most despicable bunch of murderers the east has seen in the last\n100 years. The alternative to this nightmare is ready. The alternative exists\nand it is the NCRI and our leader, Maryam Rajavi. Maryam Rajavi and her\ndedicated and able team to which I am proud to belong. Yes, dear friends, dear\nAshrafis, dear Mrs. President, the next Ashraf is coming. Nothing and nobody\ncan stop it. And its name is Iran.
