Iran\u2019s foreign minister threatens dissidents to death<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In August 21, Javad Zarif, the Iranian regime\u2019s Foreign Minister, who was furious at various protests by the Iranian people<\/a> in France, Norway, Finland and Sweden, threatened protesters to death in an interview with Press TV and said, \u201cThose who are standing outside, ask them to participate in one of our meetings and see if they survive even for one minute. They can\u2019t even be in Iraq because they will be eaten alive\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how Zarif showed the vicious nature of the regime he serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\nthe foreign minister issues death threats to dissidents abroad, one could only imagine\nwhat happens to the Iranian dissidents inside prisons and torture chambers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zarif is the foreign minister of a government that is the world record holder of executions per capita, which has executed more than 120,000 people<\/a> in the past 40 years, which has executed \u00a0more than 3,700 \u00a0people in the past six years alone, and has hundreds more on death row. Yet Iran\u2019s foreign minister has denied vehemently any political oppression or human rights abuses in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is truly the greatest apologist for the Iranian regime\u2019s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, as the U.S. State Department called him chief apologist in a tweet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran\u2019s foreign minister\u2019s actions is not diplomacy but the justification of executions and torture, and according to the state TV, Zarif and Qasem Soleimani, head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps\u2019 Terrorist Quds forces, a well-known terrorist, are two sides of the same coin.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the National Council of Resistance of Iran.\u00a0 said in its press release about Zarif on August 21<\/a>: \u201cZarif\u2019s remarks show once again that receiving the mullahs\u2019 Foreign Minister emboldens the regime to engage in terrorism, murder and warmongering, and clearly runs counter to the interests of the Iranian people, who are seeking the ruling theocracy\u2019s overthrow and the establishment of democracy and popular sovereignty in Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zarif\u2019s threats once again show that hosting the foreign\nminister of the mullahs\u2019 regime encourages the regime to continue warmongering\nin the Middle East and is in direct conflict with the interests of the Iranian\npeople who seek regime change and freedom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of Iran\u2019s foreign minister in France is an affront to all the values that France represents. The French government must hold Zarif and his regime to account for their human rights violations and terrorist activities in the Middle East and across the globe. But even more importantly, Zarif must be held to account and answer why his diplomat Assadollah Assadi<\/a> was involved in the failed bombing of the 2018 Paris rally<\/a> of the Iranian Resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
