Iran: International community reacts to Iran protests<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since last Friday, the people of Iran have been protesting and holding\nanti-government demonstrations the whole way across the country. The protests were sparked by\nthe regime\u2019s announcement that fuel prices would be increased by 50 per cent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protests have turned violent, with anti-riot\npolice and suppressive forces attacking the crowds. There have been a number of\ndeaths and many people have been injured because of the violence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the weekend, the US Secretary of\nState posted a message on Twitter reminding the people of Iran that the United States\nis standing behind them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
