Is the West still seeking a moderate in the Iranian regime, or is it on the side of the Iranian protesters?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iranian protesters in 2018 and 2019, in a nutshell, said \u201cNO\u201d to the mullahs and demanded a complete regime change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years, the dream of reforming the\nmullahs\u2019 regime has been on the table of Western states. Also, within the mullahs\u2019\nrule, some people such as former President Mohammad Khatami and current Iranian\nPresident Hassan Rouhani, posed as reformists to deceive both the Iranian\nsociety that dreamed of freedom and Western countries. The aim was to extend\nthe life of the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United States has forgotten the\nslogan of \u201cDown with the US\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During Mohammad Khatami\u2019s rule, Western countries turned a blind eye to human rights abuses in Iran. The United States also forgot the Iranian regime slogan, \u201cDown with the US,\u201d and the seizing its embassy and taking its diplomats hostage<\/a>. Instead it decided to show good will to the mullahs in Tehran. This set the stage for the US to designate the main opposition of the Iranian regime, the MEK<\/a>, as a terrorist organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2003, the United States also aided\nthe Iranian regime by bombing MEK members in Iraq. France also did a favor to\nthe mullahs by arresting Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a> and attacking MEK bases so that the dream of reform\nmight come true within the mullahs. But they didn\u2019t get anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, US National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice asserted<\/a> \u201cwe\u2019ve been searching for that 25 years and it doesn\u2019t ever seem to work\u201d , thus acknowledging the failure of this dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Masoud Rajavi<\/a>,\nthe leader of the Iranian resistance, announced that \u201cviper does not give birth to pigeon\u201d when Khatami rose to presidency,\nwhich means that the mullahs will not be reformed from within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hassan Rouhan<\/a>i, the regime\u2019s current president, has been representing supreme leader Ali Khamenei in the Supreme National Security Council for 23 years. He was secretary of that Council for 16 years and was involved in many terrorist decisions and repression of the Iranian people and covert nuclear activities. So how can we call him a \u201creformist\u201d within the context of what is commonly referred to as \u201creformist\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohammad Khatami also served as propaganda minister under Ruhollah Khomeini, former Iranian supreme leader. He punished thousands of journalists, and he confessed to forcing hundreds of thousands of young children into minefields and using them as cannon fodder. During the same period, more than 30,000 political prisoners<\/a> were slaughtered by the regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohammad Khatami is the authority who\nordered the suppression of students during the Iran protests<\/strong> at\nTehran University in 1999. Therefore, he and his accomplices who are involved\nin the killing of the Iranian people and cannot be called reformists. So,\nreform of a system based on the killing and violation of human rights and the\nspread of terrorism and war cannot be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Europe, of course, there are now\na few, hoping for a reform within the mullahs\u2019 regime. Most Western media and\npoliticians have now come to believe that the mullahs are incorrigible. Only a\nfew, for the sake of economic gain, like to deceive a part of society and try\nto create a rosy picture of the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the US, too, all politicians\nknow it well as Mrs. Rice said, \u201cThere will not be any moderate in the\nmullahs\u2019 regime.\u201d There are only a few media outlets or \u201cfriend reporters\u201d\nthat the Iranian regime fooled them, and they think the mullahs can be reformed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two weeks after that Iranian protesters<\/strong> purred into the streets and the mullahs cut off the\nInternet and killed Iranian\nprotesters<\/strong> behind closed doors, images of Iran protests<\/strong>\nhave been released to the world. All those who wanted to deceive themselves and\nseek a mirage of reformation are no longer hopeful of reforming this regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually, no insect will pick the\nscorpion as neighbor because otherwise, it will have to wait for its agonizing\nvenom. So, if anyone in this situation is still looking for a mirage of\nreformation and nurturing this dream in his head, it is the same as living in\nthe scorpion\u2019s neighborhood because the mullahs will not be loyal to anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can see an instance of the in\nthe way the mullahs treated their European friends only in 2018 and 2019. The\ngood relations of the European countries, especially France, with the Iranian\nregime have yielded nothing but the expansion of terrorism in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iranian regime\u2019s terrorist\noperation in past two years<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past two years alone, a terrorist operation<\/a> against the MEK and the National Council of Resistance (NCRI<\/a>) in France, planned by the Iranian regime and a senior diplomat of that regime, was thwarted. Sweden also arrested several Iranian regime spies. Albania thwarted a terrorist operation the Iranian regime planned against Iranian opposition members<\/a>. A member of the group planning the operation is a resident of Austria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Netherlands, Iranian regime agents assassinated an Iranian, and the Netherlands was forced to expel an Iranian diplomat. Albania also expelled the ambassador<\/a> and the first secretary of the Iranian embassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The danger of religious fundamentalism originating from\nthe Iranian mullahs has become a global threat<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, we must stress again\nthat \u201cthe viper does not give birth to pigeon,\u201d and we should not\nseek to find a moderate within the Iranian regime. Many of those who were part\nof the mullahs\u2019 governmental system and claiming reformism now say that there\nwill be no real reform in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, it is necessary to\nemphasize that it is essential to stand with the Iranian people and support\ntheir demands for the establishment of a democratic government that respects\nthe rights of the people. The West must support this demand of the Iranian protesters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world needs peace and security,\nand it is obvious that if the world seeks peace and security and a stable\nMiddle East then, it must support the Iranian protesters<\/strong>\u2018\ndesire for a change of government in Iran. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The danger of religious\nfundamentalism originating from the Iranian mullahs has become a global threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The West must rush to the aid of\nthe Iranian\nprotesters<\/strong> to cut off the head of the snake in\nTehran.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
