US senators and members of congress express support for Iranian protestors<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protests in Iran continue\nand\nmore than 450 people, including several children, were\nindiscriminately shot and killed by the IRGC, Bassij, undercover intelligence\nagents and the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, at least 4,000 people were shot and injured and\nmore than 10,000 were arrested, many of them after they were shot. Arrested\nprotesters are under severe\u00a0torture\u00a0<\/a>to make false confessions.\nMeanwhile, the protests in Iran continue to garner the support of dignitaries and\npoliticians across the world. US lawmakers are expressing their support for the just demands\nof the Iranian protesters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senators and members of Congress from both sides of the aisle\nhave expressed their support for the protesters as exercising their right to\nfreedom of speech and assembly and called on the Iranian government to end a\nmedia and communications blackout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
