MEK<\/a> supporters in central church of the Hague paid tribute to martyrs of Iran protests, condemning the killing of protesters by the mullahs, and they called on the United Nations to send a fact-finding mission to Tehran to investigate the regime\u2019s crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, Father Derni\nreferred to the general uprising of the Iranian people against the mullahs\u2019 oppression\nand commemorated the martyrs of this uprising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Iranian people are\ngoing through a very dark period in their country\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHundreds of thousands of\nIranians took to the streets in mid-November this year to end the 40-year\nrepression by the ruling regime in Iran but were brutally suppressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c1,500 killed, 4,000 wounded\nand 12,000 arrested; among the dead were women and 13- and 14-year-old children\nwere killed. Let\u2019s pray together for the families who have lost loved\nones and for those who are currently under the most severe pressure in prisons,\nas well as for those who have no news of their loved ones about what has\nhappened to them \u00a0because\nwe believe that all human beings must be free to choose their fate and beliefs.\u201d\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Gilbert Mitterrand, chairman of the France Libert\u00e9 Foundation, said to MEK supporters\u2019 event in Hague: \u201cThe Iranian mullahs\u2019 regime killed people by shooting bullets in more than 165 cities across the country during the popular uprising; at the same time, it shut down the Internet and Revolutionary Guards arrested many of the protesters. So far, more than 1,500 people have been killed<\/a> and 4,000 injured and 12,000 arrested. The Iranian regime is a state of terror and lawlessness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Gilbert Mitterrand\nadded: \u201cDaniel Mitterrand Foundation regrets the inaction of European\ngovernments in condemning the violent repression inflicted on the Iranian\npeople.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This organization welcomed the\ncall by NGOs to send fact-finding committees by UN to Iran and called for the\nimmediate release of those arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cToday in Hague, we express\nour condolences and solidarity with the victims and their families, along with\nParis and all capitals of the world, which have condemned this criminal regime\nthrough such programs,\u201d Mitterrand said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cFrance Libert\u00e9 Foundation,\nalong with you, calls on governments to go beyond diplomatic warnings to\nclearly and decisively condemn these unacceptable crimes and to take all\nnecessary initiatives to mobilize the international community and the United\nNations,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cSilence on the regime\u2019s\ncrimes is unacceptable because it encourages the mullahs to continue their\ncrimes,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gilbert Mitterrand\nemphasized that if the Iranian regime is forced to be clear about its crimes in\nfront of the international community, what will surely happen is\nthat this regime will fall under the category of criminal regimes against\nhumanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoping that\nthe New Year 2020 will bring peace and light to Iran,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other speaker in MEK\nsupporters\u2019 meeting in Hague was Mrs. Corinne Mitterrand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said in her speech\ncommemorating the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988\nthat Khomeini, then Iranian regime supreme leader, ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Corinne Mitterrand referred to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2018s call to send a fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons: \u201cThe International Community and the UN Security Council must act as soon as possible to stop the mass repression and killing of the Iranian people and to punish the regime leaders for committing crimes against humanity. This case should be evaluated very urgently.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
