The Iranian regime\u2019s agents in Iraq, ordered by Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, conducted\u00a0their first missile attack on Camp\u00a0Liberty;\u00a0the second home of Iranian Resistance group the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a>, on February 9, 2013.\u00a0The barrage of missiles resulted in\u00a0eight\u00a0deaths and 100 MEK members being injured.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the first of a chain of missile attacks by the regime\u2019s proxies on Camp Liberty, which was all the more horrific because the MEK had been moved to Camp Liberty because they were in danger from attacks by the regime at\u00a0their first home Camp\u00a0Ashraf. (After several deadly assaults, the US, United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), and the Iraqi government moved the MEK to Camp Liberty.)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
