On August 22, the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) hosted an online conference calling for an international investigation against the Iranian regime officials and perpetrators involved in the 1988 massacre<\/a> of over 30,000 political prisoners across Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the event, legal and human rights experts, prominent dignitaries, and Iranians from across the globe in a vital call highlighted the importance of justice about the massacre<\/a>. Failure in this regard has further encouraged the genocidal regime ruling Iran to continue its systematic chain of human rights violations<\/a> during the past three decades. Executions are a means used by the mullahs\u2019 regime to maintain their rule and this horrific trend must come to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
