Homa Jaberi,\u00a0\u00a0Former Political Prisoner joined the Online\u00a0Free Iran Global Summit<\/a>\u2014day 2. In her remarks, Ms\u00a0Jaberi said, \u201cI will repeat these testimonies a hundred more times if necessary, and I will not be tired of saying them, because the world must know what happened to the Mojahedin in these 40 years and about the many executed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July 1988, the Iranian religious fascism\u2019s founder and the first supreme leader Ruhollah Khomeini issued a\u00a0fatwa<\/em>\u00a0ordering the execution of imprisoned opponents, including those who had already been tried and were serving their prison terms. This was the beginning of what turned out to be the biggest massacre of political prisoners since World War II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the decree, some 30,000 political prisoners were extra-judicially executed within several months. Today, thanks to the initiative of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), known as \u201cCall for Justice<\/a>\u201d many legal and international bodies have joined the families of victims in search of justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is the speech of Ms\u00a0Homa\u00a0Jaberi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was in solitary confinement for two years and 40 days in a disgusting complex called \u201cresidential unit,\u201d a complex set up by the regime to break the will of female Mojahedin-affiliated prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison. Several of the women held in this place for a year or more lost their mental balance due to unimaginable abuse and inhuman conditions and could not recount what happened to them. A few survivors described how they were forced to make animal sounds, while crawling on their hands and knees as male torturers rode on their backs. Several were raped. This is the filthy consequence of the ideology of the mullahs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I came out of prison I could not stop thinking about what had happened to me and the rest of my friends for a long time. We endured physical and psychological torture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will repeat these testimonies a hundred more times if necessary, and I will not be tired of saying them, because the world must know what happened to the Mojahedin in these 40 years and about the many executed. I testify so European leaders will hear, and anyone who thinks they can shake hands of friendship with this regime must remember my tortures in those moments and ask themselves how it feels to make it easy for wolves dressed as sheep?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our people, who experience these wolves up close every day, cannot tolerate handshakes with their killers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But let me say this: we are determined, to overthrow this regime, and we will overcome any obstacle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
