Why the International Community Must Support Disbanding IRGC<\/a>? For answer to this question we need to read what as follows. An official with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC<\/a>) admitted in an interview on state television that the\u00a0IRGC\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0was created to defend the regime from the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) and the Iranian people who want the mullahs gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesperson and the cultural and deputy of the regime\u2019s armed forces staff, said on September 21 that defending the \u201cideological frontiers\u201d of the regime is the \u201cnatural mission\u201d of the\u00a0IRGC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mullahs created the IRGC to pursue warmongering abroad and oppress the Iranian people, which Shekarchi described as confronting the\u00a0MEK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi called earlier this year for the\u00a0IRGC\u00a0<\/a>to be disbanded and the budget used for the benefit of the Iranian people, particularly during the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the country. (Over 110,000 people have died there until September 27, because of the regime\u2019s criminal inaction.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This would also help the Iranian people who are routinely attacked by the criminal\u00a0IRGC<\/a>, who sent to crack down on the Iranian people\u2019s protests. During the November 2019 uprising<\/a>, the IRGC shot dead at least 1,500 protesters. During the Iran-Iraq war <\/a>of the 1980s, the\u00a0IRGC\u00a0<\/a>sent children to roam the minefields, knowing that it would kill or maim them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the IRGC Quds Force<\/a> has been spreading chaos across the region, putting down protests against Iranian regime interference in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Former MP Falahatpisheh admitted that the regime had spent some $20-30 billion propping up the Bashar Assad dictatorship in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the IRGC <\/a>exclusively own the most profitable parts of Iran\u2019s industries \u2013 some one trillion dollars \u2013 with billions taken from the public purse each year due to corruption. In August, the IRGC unveiled two more cruise missiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rajavi\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0regime leaders: \u201cIf you do not intend to crack down on the public, stoke wars and export terrorism, one army should be sufficient for you. Do not impose the astronomical expenses of the IRGC on the people of Iran. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Disbanding the IRGC and spend the money used for its expenses on health and medical care instead, and pay the salaries of nurses, workers, teachers, and public sector employees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The international community must support the Iranian people\u2019s desire for freedom, democracy, and regime change. To do that, they must designate the IRGC <\/a>as a terrorist organization and call for it\u2019s disbanding.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
