Paulo Casaca former MEP from Portugal and founder of the international co-operation association in Brussels ARCHumankind<\/a>, \u201cAlliance to Renew Co-operation among Humankind\u201d, addressed a webinar <\/a>by European lawmakers on October 7, 2020, on the human rights<\/a> situation in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online Conference held under title, \u201cIran\u2019s Ongoing Crimes Against Humanity, EU\u2019s political and moral obligations\u201d. The online event<\/a>\u00a0was on October 7, 2020. Dozens of members of the European Parliament attended and spoke at the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEPs made their remarks in order to condemn the horrific human rights violations witnessed on a daily basis across Iran. In addition, MEPs called on the European Union to fulfill its moral and political obligations in the face of human rights violations in Iran. They called for a firm policy by the European Union against the mullah regime in Iran. Also, they pointed out, It is high time to stand alongside the Iranian people and support their justified aspirations for a free, democratic, and non-nuclear Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs.\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI<\/a>), was the keynote speaker<\/a> at this conference. Her message welcomed as a democratic solution to Iran\u2019s future.\u00a0Mrs. Rajavi\u2019s\u00a0ten-point plan<\/a>\u00a0has widespread support from the majority of MEPs for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
