Political prisoner Soheil Arabi<\/a> was again confronted with a false case by the mullahs. After a period of ignorance about the fate of Soheil Arabi, the news indicates that he was informed through a video conference in the court of Shahr-e Rey. A new case was filed against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Soheil Arabi, a political prisoner<\/a> imprisoned in Rajaei-Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison in Karaj, informed by a video conference by Branch 8 of the Shahr-e Rey Prosecutor\u2019s Office about a new case against him in prison. According to this case, Soheil Arabi <\/a>has been accused of \u201cpropaganda activities against the regime\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A month of ignorance in an unknown place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On September 18, 2020, Soheil Arabi suddenly summoned to the bureau of Tehran Greater Penitentiary warden Chaharmahali. Then, the prison guard transferred him to an unknown place. After many follow-ups by his families, authorities acknowledged that Soheil Arabi had been transferred to the quarantine ward called \u2018Suite\u2019 at Karaj\u2019s Rajaei-Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, contrary to authorities\u2019 false information, Soheil Arabi called his family from Evin Prison\u2019s Ward 2A on October 20. This ward is controlled by the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>). Prisoners are exposed to inhuman torture and other ill-treatment by cruel interrogators like\u00a0Raouf<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sattar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, on November 17, authorities finally transferred Arabi to Rajaei-Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison, Ward 4 \u2013 Hall 10. Simultaneously, this political prisoner faced new allegations by the IRGC <\/a>Intelligence Department. Due to his revelation about\u00a0Great Tehran Prison (Fashafuyeh)<\/a>\u2019s awful conditions, particularly during the coronavirus era, authorities filed new accusations under the pretense of \u2018propaganda against the state.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torture and harassment in prison<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Soheil Arabi was subjected to torture time and again by prison guards at Tehran Greater Penitentiary. Under the warden\u2019s supervision, the guards repeatedly attacked, tortured, and harassed this political prisoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the brutal assault, Soheil Arabi harmed in the testicles, and attackers broke his nose. Authorities deprived him of medical care. Since then, he cannot breathe easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth mentioning on Saturday, October 26, 2020, Amnesty International expressed its concerns about Soheil Arabi\u2019s condition and unclear fate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
