The Iranian Resistance Units<\/a> and their supporters organised various activities across the country last week to mark the 42nd anniversary of the anti-monarchical revolution, in the cities of Bushehr, Borujen, Bonab, Isfahan, Ilam, Kermanshah, Kerman, Karaj, Mazandaran, Mahshahr, Shirvan, Sari, Tehran, Tabriz, Urmia, Yazd, and Zanjan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The revolution unseated the Shah and was supposed to bring about democracy, but was usurped by Ruhollah Khomeini and the mullahs, who brought in a religious dictatorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
