Former Polish Foreign Minister and Member of the European Parliament Anna Fotyga and 21 other members of the European Parliament wrote a letter to the President of the Council of the European Union and the President of the European Commission regarding Iran\u2019s human rights situation<\/a> and the regime\u2019s terrorism<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MEPs wrote in their letter that It should be noted that none of the EU officials, including Vice President and High Representative Joseph Borrell, should attend the European-Iranian business meeting to be held from 1 to 3 March 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#Iran<\/a> has the highest rate of #executions<\/a> per capita. In many cases the #deathpenalties<\/a> are executed after flagrantly unfair trials marred by #torture<\/a>-tainted confessions.
