On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in their fourth nationwide gathering in the Persian new year (beginning March 20) against the clerical regime, retirees and pensioners<\/a> protested against the poor living conditions, low wages, and high prices in Tehran and 22 other cities protested and called for a boycott of the upcoming sham presidential election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nRetirees and pensioners living in Tehran marched from the parliament towards the \u201cPlanning and Budget Organization\u201d and chanted: \u201cWe share the same problems, join us,\u201d \u201cWe will not vote anymore, we have not seen any justice,\u201d and \u201cWe will not vote anymore, we have heard enough lies,\u201d \u201cOnly by taking to the street we can obtain our rights,\u201d \u201cOur tables are empty, enough of oppression,\u201d \u201cEnough of empty promises, our tables are empty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nIn addition to Tehran, retirees held protest rallies in Karaj, Khorramabad, Arak, Mashhad, Ilam, Neyshabur, Kerman, Yazd, Qazvin, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Bojnurd, Rasht, Behshahr, Shush, Shooshtar, Borujerd, Isfahan, Ardabil, Maku, and Shahroud in front of the Social Security offices. In most cities, the repressive State Security Force (SSF) surrounded the retirees to prevent others from joining them. They also prevented them from filming and photographing the rallies. In Kerman and Shush, retirees entered the Social Security building and chanted slogans against regime officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThis morning, in another protest rally in front of Tehran\u2019s Stock Exchange, the defrauded investors protested and chanted \u201cDeath to Rouhani\u201d and \u201cWe will no longer vote; we have not seen any justice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nSecretariat of the National
