Industrial Global Union issued a statement<\/a> supporting the nationwide strikes<\/a> of Iranian petrochemical and oil and gas workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndustriALL assistant general secretary Kemal \u00d6zkan said<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnce again, our Iranian brothers have shown tremendous courage and resolve in the face of oppression. They are taking collective action to defend themselves, to improve their conditions, and to demand that their homeland is built to meet the needs of the many. We salute them and stand in solidarity with their struggle and just demands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The union declares that it is fighting alongside the Iranian workers for the realization of their demands and demands for greater solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
