The second day of the Free Iran World Summit<\/a> 2021: The Democratic Alternative on the March to Victory commenced with the participation of 15 European, Canadian and Australian delegations, five former senior Arab officials, eight parliamentary delegations, and altogether 70 speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur message to the international community, especially after the regime has closed ranks and installed a mass murderer as its president, is that it should not make concessions to a nuclear-armed butcher,\u201d said Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), in her address to the conference. \u201cAnd not to provide assistance to the mullahs who are on the brink of collapse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Rajavi described the West\u2019s policy toward Iran as \u201ca vicious cycle of deception and appeasement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile the regime has been hiding its nuclear program by deceiving the world, the international community has been trying to stop or curb this project by granting concessions or by showing complacency,\u201d Rajavi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After reciting the regime\u2019s history of deceiving world powers and secretly continuing its nuclear program, Mrs. Rajavi said, \u201cIt is clear how the regime continued to advance towards developing an atomic bomb at every step by deceiving the world and receiving concessions. The result is that Khamenei <\/a>is building a bomb and will not stop. Any agreement he signs to reduce these activities, and any promise he makes, are pure lies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that \u201cany agreement that does not completely close down the regime\u2019s bomb-making, enrichment and nuclear facilities is unacceptable. And the Iranian people will not accept it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opposition president also the regime must also be obliged \u201cto withdraw the Revolutionary Guard Crops (IRGC<\/a>) from Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Lebanon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, any agreement that doesn\u2019t take into account the brutal human rights violations in Iran and does not oblige the mullahs to stop torturing and executing young Iranians will be unacceptable, Mrs. Rajavi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnything less, in any wrapping, is tantamount to caving in to the mullahs\u2019 nuclear catastrophe,\u201d she said, adding that the nuclear weapons program is \u201can important part of Khamenei\u2019s strategy to escape his overthrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But overthrow is a fate that the regime cannot escape, Mrs. Rajavi emphasized. \u201cDespite all these sufferings, the Iranian people and their Resistance are determined to overthrow the religious dictatorship. And it will not matter if the regime is nuclear armed or not, we will overthrow it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
