The Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI<\/a>) issued a statement<\/a> regarding the protests of the people of Khuzestan Province against the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full text of the statement is as follows:
The Province-wide uprising in Khuzestan (southwest) in protest against water shortage<\/a> continued for the third consecutive night despite the regime\u2019s repressive measures. The regime\u2019s repressive forces opened fire, killing a few protesters, and wounding many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
