Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, former Vice President of the EP, Chair of ISJ<\/a>, addressed at the\u00a02nd Day of The Free Iran World Summit on July 11, 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/iframe>\n\n\n\nDistinguished guests, this year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/freeiran-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">annual global free Iran summit<\/a> is being held under very different circumstances in the past years, particularly, because a mass murderer is about to take office as heads of state in Iran. <a href=\"https:\/\/isjcommittee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The International Committee in Search of Justice(ISJ)<\/a>, of which I have the honor to be the president, has backed this summit for many years, and we are very proud of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\nI would like to express the ISJ\u2019s gratitude to all the distinguished speakers from all over the world for their very valuable support for the Iranian people and their resistance on day one and day two of this event, and I\u2019m sure there will be more of them tomorrow. I do not intend to repeat what our guests have said. As <a href=\"https:\/\/isjcommittee.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISJ <\/a>President, I would like to share with you our conclusion from these unique and eloquent events. And this conclusion is the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThere remains no excuse for tolerating the evil regime of Iran anymore. Determination of the<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a> for a free Iran as we have all heard from <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/maryam-rajavi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mrs. Rajavi<\/a>\u2018s speech in this event leaves no note that Iranian people are resolute to change this regime. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAlso, we have heard clear messages from inside Iran by those who are risking their lives to reach out to express their desire for regime change. All the valuable contributions made in <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/freeiran-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this unique three-day summit<\/a> indicate a strong international support for the Iranian people\u2019s will for such change.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSo, I am addressing the European leaders and the regime in pieces to say this. Let us face it. Despite all your placements, the regime has not given nor will it give you sentiment concessions. By appeasing the mullahs, you will only be distancing yourself from the Iranian people, who want to get rid of the mullahs. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd also you are discrediting Europe, discrediting the European Union, in the minds of millions of Iranians, who see the appeasement policy with a mocking look. <\/p>\n\n\n\nIf our governments do not turn their back to the mullahs to face the Iranian people, they will be their absolute losers, and we will trample upon the European values for which millions of people, millions of Europeans lost their lives in the 20th century. In the end, let me inform you that the International Committee in Search of Justice has pledged more than ever before to achieve change of the European Union policy in Iran. <\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd in this regard, we will welcome all the dignitaries participating in the summit to join and help.
