\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nNoury\u00a0is being tried for his role in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/1988-massacre-of-political-prisoners-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners\u00a0<\/a>in Iran, mostly members and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PMOI\/MEK<\/a>). Hamid Noury (also known as Hamid Abbasi) was one of the henchmen involved in the massacre as the assistant to the deputy Prosecutor in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj (west of Tehran). He was the executioner of numerous prisoners. Several years ago, the Iranian Resistance identified him as one of the perpetrators of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/story-of-1988-massacre-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1988 massacre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBefore that, he was a member of the Revolutionary Guard (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/inside-irans-army-of-terror-and-oppression-revolutionary-guards-irgc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IRGC<\/a>) and worked for many years as an interrogator and torturer in the notorious Evin Prison in Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSupporters of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iranfocus.com\/en\/iran-general\/33668-a-primer-on-iran-s-mek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MEK\u00a0<\/a>called for the trial of the regime\u2019s supreme leader<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2020\/10\/24\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0Ali Khamenei<\/a>\u00a0and the mass murderer<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-ebrahim-raisi-a-mass-murderer-for-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0Ebrahim Raisi<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/exclusive-report\/who-is-gholamhossein-mohseni-ejei-irans-new-judiciary-chief\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei<\/a>, the regime\u2019s new judiciary chief. Because they committed genocide and crimes against humanity in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/story-of-1988-massacre-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1988 massacre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe demonstrators chanted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201c1988 massacre, 30,000 executed\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rajavi\u00a0<\/a>Yes, Mullahs No, They are terrorists, they must go!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cDown with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2020\/10\/24\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Khamenei<\/a>, down with Raisi, Damn to Khomeini.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cFour decades of crime!
