\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Coinciding with the anniversary of the November 2019 uprising and the appeals court on bombing at the 2018 Iranian Resistance Grand Gathering, in <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/18\/iranian-resistance-supporters-rally-in-front-of-antwerp-court-during-the-appeal-trail-of-three-iranian-regime-terrorists-calling-for-shut-down-iran-terror-embassies-november-17-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Antwerp<\/a>, Belgium, the trial of the executioner Hamid Noury took place in Durr\u00ebs, Albania on November 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the previous days, the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MEK <\/a>members and former political prisoners <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/10\/trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-10-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mohammad Zand<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/11\/second-day-of-the-trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the-1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-11-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Majid Sahib Jam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/12\/third-session-of-the-trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the-1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-12-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asghar Mehdizadeh<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/15\/fourth-day-of-the-trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the-1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-15-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Akbar Samadi<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/16\/fifth-day-of-the-trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the-1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-16-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mahmoud Royaei<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/2021\/11\/17\/sixth-day-of-the-trial-of-hamid-noury-the-executioner-of-the-1988-massacre-at-the-durres-court-in-albania-november-17-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hossein Farsi<\/a>, appeared in court as plaintiffs and testified about the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/1988-massacre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1988 massacre<\/a> of political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison and the role of the executioner Hamid Noury in the massacre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 8 am on November 18, the hearing of the testimony of MEK member Hassan Ashrafian as a witness began in the court of the Durr\u00ebs, Albania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Hassan-Ashrafian-with-other-plaintiffs-entering-Durres-Court-in-Albania-%E2%80%94-Nov-18-2021.jpg\" alt=\"Hassan Ashrafian with other plaintiffs entering Durr\u00ebs Court in Albania \u2014 Nov 18, 2021\" class=\"wp-image-29062\" onerror=\"this.src='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';this.srcset='https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/wp-content\/themes\/hello-elementor\/images\/broken-image-placeholder.gif';\"><figcaption><em><sup>Hassan Ashrafian with other plaintiffs entering Durr\u00ebs Court in Albania \u2014 Nov 18, 2021<\/sup><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the judge explained the framework for the testimony of Hassan Ashrafian, and then asked Hassan to swear that he would not conceal or change the matter as a witness, and to state all his observations. <br>The prosecutor then began his questions with witness Hassan Ashrafian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hassan Ashrafian was arrested by the regime\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/inside-irans-army-of-terror-and-oppression-revolutionary-guards-irgc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IRGC <\/a>on January 4, 1983. He was transferred to Ghezel Hesar Prison on October 24, 1983. And transferred to Gohardasht Prison in Karaj on March 31, 1986. During the massacre of political prisoners in ward 3 of Gohardasht prison, he witnessed massacres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Iran?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Iran<\/a>'s IRGC arrested Ashrafian on January 4, 1983, for supporting the MEK. He spent three years in Tehran\u2019s Evin and Ghezel Hesar prisons. In 1986, he was transferred to Gohardasht prison. During the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/1988Massacre?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#1988Massacre<\/a>, he was in Ward 3 of Gohardasht prison.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/qPsRvCWm6G\">pic.twitter.com\/qPsRvCWm6G<\/a><\/p>\u2014 People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) (@Mojahedineng) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mojahedineng\/status\/1461249956962988034?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 18, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashrafian described Gohardasht prison\u2019s chain of command. Mohammad Moghiseh, who was also known as \u201cNasserian,\u201d ran the affairs of the prison. \u201cAs far as I know, Hamid Abbasi [Noury] was his [Nasserian\u2019s] deputy. Before the 1988 massacre, there were 200 people. Of these, six or seven were charged with offenses other than supporting the MEK, but 190 of them were MEK supporters. Of these 200 people, only 53 remained,\u201d Ashrafian said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashrafian: \u201cNasserian threatened us and said: \u2018We killed all of them, and we will kill the rest of you later\u2026 Don\u2019t think our hands are tied. We can execute you like the rest anytime we want.\u2019\u2026 Noury was there and agreed with every statement by nodding his head.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashrafian: In Nov 1988, in response to issues we raised about our conditions in prison, Abbasi said, \u2018Go & thank God that you\u2019re alive.
