With the seventh round of talks<\/a> aimed at restoring the 2015 Iran nuclear deal<\/a>, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA<\/a>), coming to a close last week after five days of deliberations, negotiations resumed again on December 9 with doubts as to whether the talks will be successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iranian regime\u2019s negotiator has made a number of statements to intimidate the Western signatories into giving in to the regime\u2019s demands for the immediate relief from U.S. sanctions, but the U.S. does not plan to provide such relief. Instead, they have warned that if the regime\u2019s delaying tactics lead the negotiations to fail, there are other options available to make them cooperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
