June 18, 2018<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Leader of the Christian Democratic Party in Norway and two senior members of this country\u2019s parliament have expressed their support and solidarity with the upcoming Iranian opposition convention scheduled for June 30th<\/sup>\u00a0in Paris.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0rally<\/a>\u00a0now enjoys the support of a large number of MPs, political figures and social\/religious dignitaries from across the globe, voicing their backing of the Iranian people\u2019s call for regime change and the opposition campaign led by the parliament-in-exile National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Iranian convention statement<\/b><\/a><\/h2>\n

In circumstances that protests across Iran \u2013 continuing after the Dec\/Jan uprising \u2013 are rattling the very pillars of the Iranian regime, and political developments in the Middle East and throughout the globe are placing further pressure on Tehran\u2019s mullahs, Iranian exiles from across the globe are gathering in Paris once again for the annual Iranian Resistance convention.<\/p>\n

Continuing its struggle for a free during the past 15 years, the Iranian Resistances seeks to establish a free Iran without any crackdown, torture or execution; based on the separation of church and state where the mullahs\u2019 current rule is replaced by a democratic system based on the ballot box; establishing a non-nuclear Iran, becoming the epicenter of peace and friendship in the Middle East and the world over; the country\u2019s God-given wealth not being wasted on warmongering, but to provide the population\u2019s welfare; and a country in which equality, social justice, progress and protecting the environment will all be realized.<\/p>\n

Certain is the fact that the Iranian regime is facing enormous obstacles and challenges both inside the country and on the global stage.<\/p>\n

The international community is finally beginning to realize that the appeasement policy must be set aside. Freedom and democracy must be established in Iran, following regime change, in order to obtain peace and tranquility in the region.<\/p>\n

Three principles are now proven more than ever before:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Regime change in Iran is a dire necessity<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2013 Regime change in Iran is at hand<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2013 There is a viable alternative for the Iranian regime<\/b><\/p>\n

The Dec\/Jan uprising has proven that the Iranian people want this regime gone and senior official in Tehran are acknowledging this undeniable reality.<\/p>\n

As seen most recently in Kazerun, the Iranian regime has neither the will nor the capacity to provide for the Iranian people\u2019s rightful demands.<\/p>\n

After nearly 40 years in power, the time has come for this regime to be set aside.<\/p>\n
