Iranian Great Gathering<\/h3>\n

200 British MPs support the Iranian Great Gathering for a free and democratic Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 200 British MPs support the uprising of the Iranian people,<\/strong>and express solidarity with the Paris Great Gathering<\/a> for a free and democratic Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

Call on the British government and the international community\u00a0<\/strong>to recognize the National Council Resistance of Iran as the Democratic Alternative\u00a0<\/strong>and support for Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s 10-point plan for a Free and Democratic Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the eve of holding the Grand Gathering in Paris for a free and democratic Iran, more than 200 representatives from both the House of Peers, and the House of Commons, and from all parties, expressed solidarity and support for uprising of the Iranian people and the free Iran Gathering.<\/p>\n

The statement released by the British Committee for a Free Iran states<\/a><\/p>\n

In spite of heavy repression, the world saw a wave of uprisings and protests of the Iranian people in January 2018, which quickly spread to more than 140 cities. People were screaming \u201creformist, principled, after all,\u201d \u201cDeath to Khamenei and clerics,\u201d \u201cneither Gaza nor Syria, our lives for Iran,\u201d and \u201csurrender to Syria\u201d.<\/p>\n

Representatives of various parties in the two Houses of the United Kingdom in their statement add: \u201cThis reflects the will of the people of Iran to change this religious dictatorship and the general rejection of the spread of terrorism and the warring regime in the region.<\/p>\n

We express our solidarity with the Iranian people and support their democratic goals.<\/p>\n

The fact that these uprisings quickly spread to more than 140 cities with global slogans reflects the strong leadership role of the PMOI in Iran to mobilize this demonstration.<\/p>\n

Representatives also expressed solidarity with the Iranian people\u2019s gathering in Paris on June 30 in support of the uprisings in Iran for freedom and democracy, adding:<\/p>\n

We call on our government and the international community to align with the people of Iran and recognize the National Council of Resistance of Iran as a practical alternative to this shaky religious dictatorial regime.<\/p>\n

We selected the 10th article of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president elected by the National Council of Resistance of Iran to establish a democratic republic based on the separation of religion from the state, gender equality, ethnicity and religion, the abolition of the death sentence, without a nuclear program, a peaceful co-existence, and committed to International human rights instruments, international conventions and international conventions to ensure the rule of law, development and advancement in Iran and around the world.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
