In a conference held at the United Kingdom\u2019s parliament on Wednesday, Mr. Struan Stevenson<\/a>, a former Member of the European and Scotland\u2019s parliaments, unveiled his new book titled \u201cDictators and Revolution: Iran, A Contemporary History\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book delves into Iran\u2019s modern-day history and how the Pahlavi dictatorship aided the ruling theocracy in hijacking the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution. The event was attended by British lawmakers and members of the Iranian diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his speech, Mr. Stevenson, who is now the Coordinator of the Campaign for Iran Change (CiC), highlighted how the book exposes the ominous, corrupt, and barbaric alliance between the mullahs and the monarchical dictatorship, which has prevented generations from achieving their democratic aspirations. He also discussed Reza Pahlavi\u2019s efforts to revive the deposed monarchy, his contradictory stance on democracy, and his failure to denounce his father\u2019s crimes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Mr. Stevenson mentioned Pahlavi<\/a>\u2018s support of the Islamic Republic\u2019s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC<\/a>) and his admission of \u201cbilateral contact\u201d with the terrorist organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Member of the European and Scotland\u2019s parliaments, Mr. Struan Stevenson, has unveiled his new book, \u201cDictators and Revolution\u2014Iran, A Contemporary History,\u201d which sheds light on Iran\u2019s contemporary history and how the Pahlavi dictatorship helped the ruling theocracy to hijack the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book discusses a viable democratic alternative presented by Maryam Rajavi<\/a> and her Ten Point Plan<\/a> for the future of Iran, which, together with the international and domestic solidarity assembled by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), offers hope for a truly democratic republic in Iran. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book\u2019s foreword is by Ambassador Lincoln Bloomfield Jr., who commends Mr. Stevenson for his insights into the corrupt and brutal alliance of Iran\u2019s monarchists and clerics that has thwarted the Iranian people\u2019s democratic aspirations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
