\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the recent execution of three arrested protesters, brave youth in Isfahan, central Iran, attacked a base of the regime\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/i\/look-irans-revolutionary-guards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IRGC <\/a>paramilitary <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/article\/basij-irans-most-hated-paramilitary-force\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Basij<\/a> early Saturday morning. There have been other operations and activities by the defiant youth, as well as the Resistance Units, a network affiliated with Iran\u2019s principal opposition, <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK<\/a>). These measures include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brave youths attacked at least two bases of the IRGC paramilitary Basij in Isfahan and another in\u202fTehran<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brave youths attacked a religious site in\u202fArdabil\u202fthat is used by the regime to promote the mullahs\u2019 ideology of hatred, misogyny, and fundamentalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MEK Resistance Units in\u202fKerman\u202ftorched a large poster of Khamenei, regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini, and former IRGC Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday night, protesters in Tehran torched a large poster of the regime\u2019s supreme leader, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\">Ali Khamenei<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities in Qezel Hesar Prison of Karaj, located west of the capital Tehran, executed three inmates early Saturday morning. The families of these inmates had rallied outside of Qezel Hesar Prison on Friday and called on the Iranian people to join their gathering in an effort to save the lives of their loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tehran University students\u202fgathered on Saturday to protest the recently strict rules and regulations imposed by campus officials and security. Also in Tehran,\u202fTarbiat Modares University students\u202fheld a gathering on May 20, protesting Friday\u2019s execution of three protesters in Isfahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National University students\u202fin Tehran also held a rally protesting the execution of three protesters in Isfahan, while also voicing solidarity with the victims\u2019 families.
