Paris, October 7, 2023:<\/strong> Mr. Mike Pompeo, who served as the 70th Secretary of State of the United States, held a meeting with Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>).
After their meeting, Mr. Pompeo delivered an impactful speech to a conference Entitle, \u201cIran: Uprising and Resistance Against the Regime of Execution\u201d with NCRI members and their supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the beginning of the conference, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the NCRI<\/a>, addressed the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maryam Rajavi: The regime fears a nationwide movement that is ready for a fundamental change in Iran<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Rajavi said: The regime fears a nationwide movement that is ready for a fundamental change in Iran.
First, let me salute my fellow Baluch compatriots. On the anniversary of the Zahedan uprising, where 120 people were killed by the regime last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also salute the brave young people who undertook many acts of protest on the anniversary of the 2022 uprising<\/a>. Now, on the last year\u2019s uprising, there are several significant and practical conclusions that I would like to mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First: the social readiness to continue the protests has increased, despite massive repression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second: Western governments have largely helped the regime.
However, Khamenei and his criminal president, Ebrahim Raisi<\/a>, have failed to break the regime\u2019s deadlock. Economic and social crises have intensified, and social discontent has increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the third conclusion is that the social impact of the MEK <\/a>and the NCRI <\/a>has significantly improved inside the country over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
