\n<\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\nIn her address, Mrs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, emphasized: \u201cThe world must stand against the mullahs\u2019 warmongering. Instrumentalizing the Palestinian issue is a well-known tactic of this deceitful regime. Today, <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\">Khamenei <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-ebrahim-raisi-a-mass-murderer-for-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raisi <\/a>want to transform <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iran-protests-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Iranian people\u2019s uprising<\/a> and struggle against religious fascism in Iran into a Muslim-Jewish war. They seek a shield and a cover to contain the uprising and preserve the mullahs\u2019 rule. The right policy is to stand against the clerical regime, the foremost state sponsor of terrorism and warmongering. The 8-year war with Iraq was fought with the slogan \u201cconquering Quds (Jerusalem) via Karbala.\u201d The war left one million dead, 2 million disabled and injured, 4 million displaced, and caused a trillion dollars in material damage on the Iranian side. In addition to this, there were daily executions, especially of the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PMOI\/MEK<\/a>. Khomeini considered the war a \u201cDivine Blessing\u201d that could cover up the executions and repression while preserving his regime. After the National Liberation Army of Iran (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iran-e-azad.org\/english\/nla\/fortystars.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NLA<\/a>) conquered the city of Mehran, which forced him to accept the ceasefire, Khomeini resorted to massacring political prisoners in prisons across the country and issued a fatwa for the immediate execution of every prisoner who remained loyal to the<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\"> PMOI\/MEK<\/a>. Khamenei has openly stated that if the regime does not engage in conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, it will have to confront the angry people and rebellious youth in Kermanshah, Hamedan, Isfahan, and Tehran. Khamenei relies on the inaction of Europe and the US when he resorts to warmongering and executions. The massacre of innocent civilians fuels religious fascism in Iran and serves as a shield and cover to suppress the uprising and avoid its downfall. To achieve peace and freedom, one should target the head of the snake (leadership) in Tehran. Recently, a network of regime agents was exposed in the US and Europe\u2019s political institutions and government agencies. This revelation exposed the behind-the-scene events of the policy of appeasement. This network actively works at high levels in Washington, DC, Germany, Sweden, and undoubtedly in other countries, including France. These agents receive their orders directly from the Iranian regime, and their mission is to influence Western governments to: \u2013 Justify the clerical regime\u2019s positions and demands regarding its nuclear program; \u2013 Prevent new sanctions; \u2013 Prevent the terrorist designation of the Revolutionary Guards (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/inside-irans-army-of-terror-and-oppression-revolutionary-guards-irgc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IRGC<\/a>); \u2013 Infiltrate other agents in government positions and as experts in the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThey spread this big lie that the PMOI\/MEK and the National Council of Resistance (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NCRI<\/a>) do not have any base of support inside Iran and are not an alternative. The disclosure of this network proves the facts that we have said many times: \u2013 That the mullahs\u2019 regime dictates the policy of appeasement. \u2013 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/inside-irans-army-of-terror-and-oppression-revolutionary-guards-irgc-part-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IRGC <\/a>and the ministries in Tehran produce the lies to justify appeasement.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAccording to this critical experience, France is expected to take the initiative to expel the regime\u2019s agents from the soil of France and Europe. The time has come to revise European politics. First, the European Troika\u2019s decision to maintain missile sanctions against the regime is a positive step. But they should not forget to activate the trigger mechanism and restore the six UN Security Council resolutions on the regime\u2019s nuclear projects. Second, the regime\u2019s access to European markets and universities to facilitate the production of weapons and means of repression should be prevented by strengthening the sanctions regime. These units represent a unified and active force in Iran, and the death penalty is not just a judicial punishment but a political tool for suppressing the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMarietje Schaake, a member of the National Assembly from the Socialist Party and a former rapporteur of the European Council on death sentences, emphasized the need for France to consistently address the issue of executions in the Parliament and the Senate to demonstrate opposition to such crimes worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00c9mile Blessig, a former senior MP and a founder of the parliamentary Committee for Democratic Iran, stressed the vital role of the National Council of Resistance, led by Mrs. Rajavi, in the struggle for a free and democratic Iran. He also highlighted the global support for the Iranian people\u2019s fight for democracy and the prosecution of human rights violators.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMP Philippe Gosselin, deputy head of the parliamentary Committee for Democratic Iran, expressed his support for the Iranian people\u2019s struggle for freedom and called for the continuity of their resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMP C\u00e9cile Rilhac, a representative of the majority fraction and the head of the Parliamentary Committee for Democratic Iran, reaffirmed her commitment to support the Iranian people\u2019s fight for democracy despite opposition from those advocating appeasement.<\/p>\n\n\n\nDominique Attias, head of the Administrative Council of the European Lawyers\u2019 Foundation, emphasized the relationship between the demand for the abolition of execution and modern democracy. She also criticized the regime\u2019s attempts to discredit the resistance and stressed that the flame of freedom will lead Iran to democracy and the abolition of the death penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\nProfessor Aude de Thuin, former president of the Supreme Education Union, emphasized that the fight in Iran is about fundamental human rights and called on the United Nations to investigate arrests and disappearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\nOther speakers, including Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Legaret, Jacques Bouthier, and Taher Boumedra, highlighted the importance of the struggle for a
