MEK Resistance Units Activities inside Iran<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

October12-13, 2023<\/strong>\u2014While the ruling regime in Iran intensifies its terrorist activities in the Middle East and around the world in an attempt to prolong the life of its dictatorship, the Resistance Units<\/a> of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) are expanding their activities\u2019 day by day.
\nAs the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) has reiterated many times, the overthrow of the clerical dictatorship in Iran will only be achieved by the people and the organized resistance. This is a message that the rapid growth of the MEK resistance units<\/a> inside Iran confirms.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Protests and MEK Resistance Units activities in Zahedan<\/h3>\n<p>While after the 2022 uprising, the clerical regime made bloody efforts to suppress and silence the society, the heroes of Sistan and Baluchistan province, particularly in its capital Zahedan, have kept the flames of the uprising alive.<br>\nThe Resistance Units in Zahedan, in response to the regime\u2019s warmongering policies in the region, wrote a message to the world:<br>\nThe mastermind behind every crime is the head of the snake (Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei)<br>\nTarget the head of the snake (Supreme Leader) in Tehran<br>\nZahedan is awake, the head of the snake is in Tehran<br>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/peoples-mojahedin-pmoi-mek-iran\/\">MEK<\/a> Resistance Units in Shiraz also installed posters of <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/massoud-rajavi-mek-pmoi\/\">Massoud Rajavi<\/a> in various parts of the city and public places.<br>\nA poster read: In Iran\u2019s contemporary history, the PMOI\/MEK are the guarantors of overthrowing the inhumane regime<br>\nThe Resistance Units in Shiraz also engaged in widespread distribution of leaflets against the regime.<br>\nOn these leaflets, it was written:<br>\n\u201cDown with <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" rel=\"\">Khamenei<\/a>, Hail to Rajavi!\u201d<br>\n\u201cWe are warriors, we will fight, and we will take back Iran.\u201d<br>\n\u201cDown with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Isfahan, the Units echoed similar slogans and said:<br>\n\u201cWe are warriors, we will fight, and we will take back Iran. Hail to Rajavi!\u201d<br>\n\u201cDown with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!\u201d<br>\nAnother activity of the Units in recent days was writing slogans against the regime on the walls and public places of the city.<br>\nThe Resistance Units in various cities across Iran engaged in writing slogans against the regime on the streets and public places. They wrote phrases such as:<\/p>\n<p>Down with the Revolutionary Guards!<\/p>\n<p>Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!<\/p>\n<p>Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi!<\/p>\n<p>Down with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the supreme leader <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/article\/who-is-ali-khamenei-the-supreme-leader-of-irans-regime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ali Khamenei<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>On October 13, in a bold and dangerous protest, the Resistance Units in Zahedan also raised placards during Friday prayers. These placards bore the following messages:<br>\nDown with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the supreme leader Ali Khamenei<br>\nNeither monarchy nor Khamenei, yes to democracy and equality!<\/p>\n<p>Given that the regime\u2019s suppressive forces are present at public gatherings, especially Friday prayers, these actions are highly risky for the Resistance Units and could lead to their arrest and severe penalties.<br>\nThe Resistance Units in Zahedan also raised placards on September 30, 2022, referring to the heinous crime committed in Zahedan and wrote, \u201cWe neither forgive nor forget this crime.\u201d On that infamous day, known as the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iran-protests\/2023\/09\/anti-regime-protests-on-the-anniversary-of-zahedans-bloody-friday-by-baluch-people\/50568\/\">Bloody Friday<\/a>,\u201d the regime\u2019s suppressive forces fired on protesters during Friday prayers in Zahedan, killing more than 100 people, including more than a dozen children.<\/p>\n<p>Amidst an intensification of the Iranian regime\u2019s global and regional terror activities, the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK\u2019s Resistance Units<\/a> relentlessly expand their operations. They reaffirm that only through the people and organized resistance can Iran\u2019s theocratic dictatorship be overthrown. These brave units persist, defying risks, to Kindle hope and the dream of a democratic Iran through public displays, slogans, and protests.<\/p>\n<h3>Iran: Rebellious youths target IRGC command headquarters in Tehran<\/h3>\n<p>The rebellious youth attacked the headquarters of the Greater Tehran Protection Corps in Ishratabad, located in the heart of Tehran, leading to heavy explosions in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The barracks, known as Wali Asr, houses not only the command headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards, named after Mohammad Rasulullah, but also several other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/inside-irans-army-of-terror-and-oppression-revolutionary-guards-irgc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRGC <\/a>commanders. These include the operational command of the northeastern areas of Tehran, known as the Nasr camp, the Basij organization of the Revolutionary Guards, the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/article\/basij-irans-most-hated-paramilitary-force\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Basij <\/a>district command of the 7th district of Tehran (Motahari), the Fatehin Basij Airborne Battalion, and the security unit known as Sahib al-Zaman.<\/p>\n<p>In critical conditions and during social upheavals, all the military and security forces of northeast Tehran fall under the command of the Nasr operational command.
