Germany Charges Iranian regime\u2019s diplomat-terrorist Suspect in Paris Bomb Plot<\/p>\n

In their statement, German prosecutors allege that Assadi, registered as a diplomat at the Iranian embassy in Vienna since 2014, was a member of the Iranian intelligence service \u201cMinistry of Intelligence and Security \u2018MOIS\u2019,\u201d whose tasks \u201cprimarily include the intensive observation and fight against opposition groups inside and outside of Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iranian regime diplomat-terrorist<\/h4>\n

Assadollah Assadi, an Iran regime\u2019s diplomat suspected of involvement in a bomb plot to attack an annual meeting of an exiled Iranian opposition group in Villepinte, near Paris, was charged with acting as a foreign agent and conspiracy to commit murder, German federal prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

The prosecutors, also said their investigation would not hinder Belgium\u2019s extradition request for the suspect.<\/p>\n

German authorities arrested the 46-year-old diplomat earlier this month in the Bavarian city of Aschaffenburg under a European arrest warrant.<\/p>\n

Vienna-based diplomat-terrorist Assadollah Assadi allegedly gave the Antwerp-based couple with Iranian roots, a device containing 500 grams of the explosive TATP during a meeting in Luxembourg in late June. The couple was stopped in Belgium and authorities reported powerful explosives were found in their car.<\/p>\n

In their statement, German prosecutors allege that Assadi, registered as a diplomat at the Iranian embassy in Vienna since 2014, was a member of the Iranian intelligence service \u201cMinistry of Intelligence and Security \u2018MOIS\u2019,\u201d whose tasks \u201cprimarily include the intensive observation and fight against opposition groups inside and outside of Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n

A statement by the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an umbrella group of the MEK, said: \u201cThe conspiracy of the terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran to attack the grand gathering of the Iranian resistance in Villepinte, Paris, was foiled.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mullahs\u2019 regime\u2019s terrorists in Belgium, helped by the regime\u2019s diplomat terrorists, had designed for the attack.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, rejected claims of Iran\u2019s involvement in the attack and described the accusations as a \u201csinister false flag ploy.\u201d<\/p>\n

A senior US\u2019s State Department official<\/a> rejected Zarif\u2019s claim and said, \u201cWe do not believe Iran\u2019s ludicrous claim that this is a false flag.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previously, Mike Pompeo, the United States\u2019 Secretary of State, accused by the Iran Revolutionary Guards Corps of carrying out \u201cassassination operations in the heart of Europe.\u201d The State Department released a graphic<\/a> showing the Iranian regime\u2019s terror attacks or attempts that were carried out over the past 30 years in Europe.<\/p>\n
