In a collective statement, multiple members of the European Parliament strongly condemned the attempted terrorist assassination of Dr. Alejo Vidal-Quadras, former First Vice President of the European Parliament and a prominent advocate for human rights. The shocking attack transpired in Madrid, leaving the entire European community in dismay.<\/p>\n

The MEPs characterized the assault as a cowardly act and called upon Spanish authorities to initiate a comprehensive investigation. They insisted that those responsible for the attack must be brought to justice without any reservations or political considerations.<\/p>\n

The joint statement highlighted Dr. Vidal-Quadras\u2019s unwavering support for the Iranian people and the NCRI, attributing the attack to the Iranian regime\u2019s opposition to his principled stance against Tehran\u2019s actions. Having served 15 years as Vice President of the European Parliament, Dr. Vidal-Quadras currently leads the International Committee In Search of Justice.<\/p>\n
